Sooooo, here's where we are...  We let our contractor go.  He's a really nice guy, we liked him a lot, but we just couldn't seem to get going and there wasn't as much supervision as we need or expect.  

We put a stop to all the foundation work until we could get things straightened out with that mess.  Stu will be acting as the General Contractor, we'll be buying the materials and bringing in the sub contractors.  We found a great guy that will be able to do most of the work with his son and our help of course.  

Back to the foundation... as you can see we are doing poured walls instead of concrete blocks. In theory, it will be better than the blocks.  However, our walls are off, they forgot two footers in the house among other problems.  We are meeting the foundation crew and our new sub contractor there on Tuesday to try to get this finished up this week.

On to the docks... the water level is just within a foot or two of being at summer levels.  The water is really muddy, but will be good to go in a few weeks!
