June Update

Wow, it's been a really, really long time since I've updated! So, here we go...

We've got the primer and self leveler on the gym floor, since it was so wavy. Just need to get the tiles laid.

This is the granite we picked out for the kitchen, office and master bath vanity.

The garage is painted except, of course, for the dormers which are not sided, yet. And Stu watering his soon-to-be lawn.

We got the three big windows in the living room stained.

Our friend Jack came back to help us with the beams for the living room and kitchen.

 

Work on the deck continues...

The tile work is done in most of the house, still need some work done in the master bath.

We started working on the hearth yesterday. We are using dried fall leaves we collected from our last house.

We are slowly bring all our plants/pots out. This one is a clipping from a plant we mailed back from Italy 12 years ago!

The battens are up, just waiting for the wood plugs so you don't see the screw holes.

The mantle is up too!

The sundeck is mostly done.

The beams and pendant lights are up in the kitchen.  We may even see our cabinets in a week or two!

Work on the gym continues...

We got a lot of work done on the gym, mostly just the floor and some trim left. 

Unfortunately, Stu got sick and was out for a week. So, this is where the gym is...

Our excavator came back to do the final grade and do some more clearing for us.

The front of the garage (minus the dormer, still!) is painted.

Wednesday, Kenny and crew started putting down the tile that we'll have for most of the flooring. This is the 1/2 bath into the office.

More of the tile went down yesterday.

The floor in the master bath is grouted.

Still need to grout the shower walls.

The front lawn is seeded and ready for straw.
