Siding!
So, we heard that Boring Bees or Carpenter Bees, if you don't know what those are, you're lucky! They bore holes into any wood that is on your house but don't like hemlock. Well... we just happen to have several hemlock trees on the property here in Cosby! Yay, lucky us! We'll be using these trees as siding for our new home!
More Clearing...
Seems like we are only having time to go back on the weekends, so this is this past weekends progress...
It was getting ready to rain Saturday morning, but we had to show up because the guy that was going to take a soil sample to let us know where our septic field can go was supposed come, he didn't. It started to rain, so back home we went.
Here We Go Again!!
Hey everyone! So, we sold our house!! Now we start all over, it has been 10 years... We bought a piece of lakefront property on Norris Lake, it's about an hour and a half from our last house. These photos are what it looked like when we first saw it, you can barely see the water...
The waterfront, well, everything was really overgrown!
Stu, doing his thing...
It's pretty over grown, but not for long. We've spent a couple of weekends cutting and burning, we have a long way to go, but we have a long time to do it!
These shots are after the fire.
Stay tuned...
