Progress...

A continuation of updates from yesterday..

The sconce lights are up. Stu went ahead and painted around the lights, and some of the trim.  The trim will be a different color, but he was taking broad strokes, lol. We also have our temporary garage doors up.  The real ones are on order and will probable be another 8 weeks. 

"The Boys" are up on the porch and they look great!!

All the windows and doors are now in. 

And the siding is a continuing saga...

The fireplace is framed and in.

While we were in Italy we ordered tiles for the fireplace surround.  They will be about the same color as the ones below, but will be about 8 inches square.

The heat and air for the garage apartment is in and working, as a matter of fact we have the air conditioning on today!

We put up some cabinets for him, hoping to get a little organized soon. 

We passed our final electric inspection this morning! Now we just need to pass the final building inspection and we'll be done with the garage, officially anyway. We still need siding on the dormers and to be painted. 

December Update

It's been a while since I had an update, but we finally have some progress that you can see.  We have a lot of the siding done. 

Washer and dryer are in! Yay, no more laundromats!!

The refrigerator finally came, without dents...

Moving more stuff...

Taa daa!!  It's not completely done, still need some trim work done, but for us it's close enough for government work, lol.  We're in!!!

The fireplace in the house is framed up.

We started putting OSB up on the walls in the garage.

WooHoo!  The camper is out of here!!!

We decided to take some time off for Christmas, but the work continued.  Pictures to follow...
