Update...

So, the docks are clean, just letting the sun do it's thing for a couple of days..

Meanwhile, on to the septic tanks for the camper...

All done!

Footers all filled in with gravel. This is the garage.

And the house below.

Started painting the docks...In my defense, the paint chip I chose the color from was really small...😁

They do look SO MUCH better!

I was going for a greenish grey, not Tiffany/robin's egg blue... Oh well, they'll do!

Checked in on our Wood Spirits...coming along nicely!  So far this is just with a chainsaw, now he'll do the finish work by hand.

With the break in the rain, we are finally ready/able to bring the camper out. Our contractor Jason made a platform for us. We were also able to bring our storage shed up from the shoreline.  It will definitely be nice to have everything handy!

Yesterday was camper moving day.  I should have gotten shots of where it was sitting, it was wedged in a backyard, I didn't think we were going to be able to get it out at all.  Fortunately, we brought our A team with us.  This is after he wiggled (literally) it out.

The pad ready to receive.

Also, we finally have some form of electrical service!

Taa-Daa!  She made it!!

Now all we need is water and electricity...😄

Still working on finishing the foundation, long story there...  We are still hoping to get this build underway, but with the price of materials, it might be tough.  For example, one piece of OSB was $7, now it's $34.  😖

Progress...

So, we've made some progress this week, not enough for me, of course, but still forward progress...

Stu is making me a new dining room table out of old barn wood, it's going to be beautiful!

On to the property... We finally got the dock anchor in! Just in time too, the water level is coming up quick.

2,000 lb concrete block should hold what we've got!

All buried.

Getting the "undocumented" septic field in for the camper.

View from the house.

View from the waters edge.

Pouring the footers, in pouring down rain!

We watched them pour the garage, but didn't want to stick around for the house pour.

The house ready to be poured.

Saturday's adventure was supposed to be pressure washing the two docks that came with the property...

Well, we had technical difficulties, not including the rain, so we ended up putting railings on the wooded dock.

It was super muddy!

After we put the railings on...

Shots of the house foundation finished.

Finally got everything together and in working order, time to pressure wash!

They were SO dirty, we figure they have been there for a long, long time.

Can't believe the difference!

On to the pontoon dock.

Wooden dock before...

After.

Pontoon dock before...

After.

Now we need a few good day for the docks to dry out so we can throw some deck paint on them.

Next on the house, they will be forming/pouring the crawlspace walls.

June Update

Wow, it's been a really, really long time since I've updated! So, here we go... We've got the primer and self leveler on the gym...
